We share in God’s Word, which shapes our faith formation, through a varied and diverse range of conversations that challenges both children and adults to appreciate the elusive but real presence of God in the world and to bring faith to expression in word and deed.
We share our faith in an inclusive community as we embrace all people, including those of all cultures, races, and sexual orientation.
Congregational Statement, May 2017:
Called by Jesus Christ to love our neighbors as ourselves, we, the congregation of Queen Anne Lutheran Church, affirm that all people—regardless of faith or religious affiliation—should be treated with dignity and respect. We stand by our brothers and sisters of churches, synagogues, mosques and other faith communities and we condemn threats and attacks upon them. More broadly, we pledge to oppose bigotry, discrimination, and scapegoating within the Christian tradition and in the society around us in response to the embracing and inclusive love God has shown us in Jesus Christ.
