QALC WOMEN’S SMALL GROUPS

Come join us at a circle this month! All women are welcome to a warm circle of support, study and service. Please  contact the church office or just check in with the circle leaders if you would like to join a Circle. Contact Candy Mathes if you would like to start a new monthly Circle.

New Circle: Meets at church in the chapel conference room on the third Monday of each month at 7 PM. All are welcome. Contact Candy Mathes.

Northern Lights: This north-of-the-city circle meets in homes, monthly on Mondays at 7 PM. Contact Dolly Smith for schedule and locations.

Would you like to learn how to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief? All ages and levels of experience are welcome; there are many tasks to do—some involve sewing, some sorting and organizing fabric, and some simply tying knots! There are two meeting times for our quilting groups:

Sewing and Service: Wednesday mornings at the church to work on LWR quilts and kits, and socialize. We gather at 9:15, take a break for coffee at 10:30, work until noon and eat lunch together. All are welcome. Contact Candy Mathes or Sallie Wilson.

PDQ’s (Pizza, Damsels, and Quilts): Third Tuesday of most months at the church, sometime after 5:30 PM.Intergenerational quilting: This evening group accommodates working people and those with children who would like to learn about quilting. Contact Karen McCullough.

Yet-to-be-Formed Circles:

These are ideas which sprang up at our October meeting. If you are interested in any of these possibilities, contact those noted, or the church office, to move forward!
