GIVE

Here’s a Quick Link to make a donation with a credit or debit card, or through your PayPal account:

We are grateful for your financial contributions! Your offerings support our ministries, our staff, and our property expenses. 95% of our income comes from your donations.

Here Are Some Easy Ways to Continue your Financial Support for QALC:

Direct Withdrawal, from your bank to ours.
This is by far the most effective way to support QALC.  Once your Direct Withdrawal has been set up, it continues, whether you are able to attend worship services or not.

We can set up Direct Withdrawal for you
We have been using the “Simply Giving” system for several years now and this accounts for 30 percent of our regular donations.  Through this program, you can set up regular Direct Withdrawals from your checking or savings account to Queen Anne Lutheran by enrolling in the church’s Simply Giving program.  Jacqui Darroch administers this program for us.  The paperwork is quite simple. To enroll, use the Enrollment and Authorization Form available on the narthex sign-up railing, from Jacqui, or online here.  Return the completed form, with a voided check, to the church office in a sealed envelope marked “Simply Giving.” With questions or to make changes in your Simply Giving enrollment, just contact Jacqui, Myra Dittes, our QALC Treasurer, or our Financial Secretary, Sallie Wilson.

Or, set up Direct Withdrawal yourself
By going through your own bank you will have the greatest flexibility, as they should be able to set up either weekly, semi-monthly or monthly donations.

Write a check. Checks may be sent to:
Queen Anne Lutheran Church  •  P.O. Box 17029  •  Seattle, WA 98127

Donate via PayPal:
Donating to QALC via PayPal is also very easy and very secure.  And the cost to the church for PayPal processing is either free or quite minimal.  There are now two ways that you can use PayPal to make donations to QALC:

Donate via the church’s website.
The “Donate” button below will take you to a secure PayPal server where you can make an electronic donation.  You will have two choice here:  You may use your personal PayPal account or, if you don’t have a PayPal account, you may enter your own credit/debit card information.  Additionally, if you check the box, you can make this an every-month donation.

Note that all of your donations to QALC will by default go to the church’s General Fund, but this screen also gives you the option of directing your donations to specific funds or benevolences.

Once you submit this information you are taken to the PayPal website to confirm your donation. The church receives your donation immediately and your donation is recorded on your giving statement.

Donate via your personal PayPal account. (This is new!)
Make donations to QALC’s General Fund from your personal PayPal account.  While you can’t set up an-every month donation here, there are no fees associated with your donation using this approach.

    1. Log in to your personal PayPal account.
    2. From the main PayPal.com landing page, click on the “More” button on the right side of the screen. This activates a drop down menu which lists several additional choices.
    3. Click on “Donate to a Cause” at the very top of the list.
    4. This will take you to a new screen where you can do a search for Queen Anne Lutheran in Washington from PayPal’s list of non-profit organizations.
    5. When you’ve found QALC, simply click on the “Donate” button
    6. This is an ideal way to donate to the church because PayPal offers this service free of charge to all participating non-profits. Neither you nor the church are charged a fee. PayPal is able to offer this free service because these donations are technically passing through the ”PayPal Giving Fund” which is an authorized charity.  The PayPal Giving Fund will acknowledge your donation via an email to you and then transfer the money to QALC.  The full amount of your donation comes to QALC as an anonymous gift.

About Offering Envelopes
Members are provided with packets of offering envelopes to use in worship or by mail. Weekly offering envelopes are a great way to combine your giving with attendance at worship services. Simply drop your gifts in the offering plate, and your personalized envelope number will assure that your contributions are properly credited. Of course, offering envelopes can be mailed to the church office if you can’t attend a service. Please use the regular offering envelopes to make gifts to Queen Anne Lutheran Church.  Special offerings envelopes are also provided in the packet for contributions to special programs. If you have not received envelopes and would like to use them for giving, please contact the church office and we will send you a packet.

A few tips to help our dedicated Counters ensure accurate accounting of your gift: please write the dollar amount of your gift on the offering envelope. When using the special offering envelopes, please write the name of the fund or organization (i.e., altar flowers or Queen Anne Helpline) as well. We realize, of course, that there will be times when you will use alternate means for your gift(s) such as pew envelopes.  In those cases, please include the following information on the envelope: (1) your name, (2) your assigned envelope number, (3) amount being designated to each fund or organization, and (4) total dollar amount enclosed. The Counters will appreciate your help.

“And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance,
so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.”
2 Corinthians 9:8

Other Ways to Support the Church:

Donating Stocks and Securities

Gifts of appreciated stocks and securities can be an excellent way to share God’s gifts. Donating stock to your church is a simple process. Queen Anne Lutheran Church maintains a brokerage account at Edward Jones for the purpose of accepting your gifts of stock.

When updating your estate papers, you can include Queen Anne by setting up a charitable annuity or charitable trust, or listing Queen Anne as a beneficiary of your will, trust, IRA, 401K, or life insurance policy.
