If you are interested or curious about joining Queen Anne Lutheran, please contact Pastor Dan or email the church office to arrange a time to talk with him. (Preparation for membership varies depending on the background and needs of each individual, so the best place to start is with a conversation.)
We receive new members during a worship service with a special liturgy. Reception of new members is an ongoing process over the church year, so don’t hesitate to contact Pastor Dan if you are interested in joining our community.
Exploring our Community
If you’ve been visiting our worship services pre-pandemic or online since March, we hope we’ve created a warm welcome for you! All of our worship and educational events, service and fellowship activities, music and connectional groups are open to everyone. Feel free to take some time to explore whatever interests you. The church office, Pastor Dan and many of our members are happy to answer questions you may have about our community.
If you would like to receive our weekly email updates, our monthly newsletter—or if you’d like to be contacted by a member , or would like to speak to the Pastor, simply email the church office or Pastor Dan to ask for those connections. When we are once again meeting live, you can fill out a visitor’s card, found in the pews, to ask for the same ways to connect with us.

Queen Anne Lutheran is “a community of faith committed to the mission of proclaiming God’s love in Christ for every person.”
By officially joining this congregation, Queen Anne Lutheran becomes your faith community. As a member of our church, you are welcomed into fellowship with others in the congregation and are entitled to all the acts of pastoral care such as weddings, funerals, pastoral counseling and visits, as needed. Being a member gives you a voice and a vote at congregational meetings and allows you to serve on Council or as a Synod Assembly delegate. Our church staff, ministry, and building expenses are supported by the donations of our members. Perhaps most importantly, we try as fellow “saints and sinners” to lift each other up in prayer, to care for one another as needs arise, to give attention and acceptance to all in our community, and to encourage each other as we grow in faith and live out God’s Love in the world.
According to our Constitution, every member of the congregation is expected to:
