RUNNING FOR AFGHAN REFUGEES IN THE NW

Pledges Welcome!

Jim Margard, member of Queen Anne Lutheran, plans to attempt the 26.2 mile NYC Marathon on November 7th, and has pledged $40 per mile ($1,040) to support the Lutheran Community Service Northwest’s Afghan Refugee Resettlement Program, whether or not he completes the event. Please join Jim and the Social Action Committee in supporting Afghan refugees in our area! Sign up here to pledge any amount, starting at $1 per mile. We’ll let you know how Jim does on his run! Our treasurer will aggregate donations and forward them to Lutheran Community Services Northwest after the event.
