WORSHIP SERVICES at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM
SAFE HAVEN TRAINING is offered at 9:30 AM. We want anyone to feel welcome to attend this training. It’s good knowledge to have and the opportunity for live training is special! This training is for both adults and high school teens. Our Safe Haven policy requires that anyone who would work or volunteer with children and other vulnerable persons attend a training, including Sunday School and VBS volunteers and pertinent staff. The training is offered two times, but attendance is asked only on ONE Sunday for anyone working with children, and anyone who may be working with children in the future. Sarah Tatterson is leading the training.
ADULT FORUM JAN. 21: Join us at 9:00 AM for a Q&A session about the upcoming year’s budget and any other questions regarding our upcoming Congregational Meeting. Members of the Finance Committee and Church Council will be at the Forum.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Kids and their parents have been counting the money collected for the For KIDS giving project, and you’ll be happily surprised that at last count we have $744.35. That’s a lot of chicks, roosters, and goats! This Sunday, January 21 at 9:30 in the Matthew Room, we’ll decide how many chicks, roosters, and goats to buy during our ForKIDS time. (Parents are welcome to attend the Safe Haven meeting in the Conference Room Sunday to learn how QALC tries to ensure a safe environment).
LYONS VISIONING SURVEY—The LYONS Vision Team has put together a survey for all congregation members. To take the survey online, visit www.roaringlyons.org/vision. Jean Oplinger and Kirsten Erickson will be available after services to chat, and will have paper copies of the survey if you prefer that format.
Childcare is available from 7:45-12:00 PM

If you have any questions, please contact Cat Ray at email@example.com.
Our ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will convene Sunday, January 28 after 10:30 worship in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be provided. We hope all members can attend as we approve the budget for the coming year, elect new church leaders and representatives, and vote to amend our Constitution.
